Dr. Eric Cole, founder of Secure Anchor Consulting, created this program from more than 30 years of experience at the highest levels of cybersecurity. A globally recognized cybersecurity expert, author, educator, and trusted advisor, Dr. Cole dedicated his career to helping organizations and security leaders better understand, manage, and defend against cyber risk.

The core curriculum and recorded instruction in this program were created and taught by Dr. Cole, bringing together decades of real-world experience, lessons, and insights into what it takes to become an effective CISO and cybersecurity leader. His expertise included advising executives and organizations around the world, authoring numerous industry-leading books, and serving on the Commission on Cyber Security for the 44th President, Barack Obama.

Following Dr. Cole’s passing in 2026, Secure Anchor is proud to continue the program he built and honor his legacy by carrying his knowledge forward to the next generation of cybersecurity leaders. Students will continue to learn directly from Dr. Cole through his original course content and recorded instruction, while our current team of experienced instructors provides ongoing coaching, guidance, and support throughout the program.
